The Roof of the World Rally is an annual driving event, that leaves in the summer from Europe to Tajikistan in Central Asia. Teams on the event are completely unsupported, and undertake this journey in order to raise money to support the less fortunate in an almost forgotten corner of the world.   The journey involves traversing deserts, mountain ranges and a wide variety of other terrain across fascinating and beautiful countries that most people have never heard of. The rally provides a fantastic opportunity to experience different cultures along a good portion of the ancient Silk Road.
